William Henry Mangione-Smith has been a professional engineer for over 15 years. During that time, he has worked for Motorola, Chrysler Corporation, and the University of California at Los Angeles as well as providing consulting services to numerous corporations worldwide. He has also led a team of university researchers developing new technologies for embedded systems at the CARES (“Compiler and Architectural Research for Embedded Systems”) Laboratory. Currently Dr. Mangione-Smith is a senior staff engineer with Intellectual Ventures. Dr. Mangione-Smith received his BSE, MSE and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. He has authored a number of publications and articles for various journals as well as being an active member of ACM and IEEE.  |
